Vermont Business Magazine The Vermont Association for the Blind & Visually Impaired welcomes you to The Great Brave Little State Challenge! The challenge is a blend of scavenger hunt, research, clue gathering and code cracking: a deep-dive into Vermontiana-new and old, online and outside, that one can do at home, camp or classroom, at your pace, solo, or with family or classmates, all within the current health guidelines. With contributions from a wide range of Vermonters from Senator Bernie Sanders to Grace Potter, guest appearances, twists and turns, time travel and a slice of pie, a splendid time is guaranteed for all.
Admission is a $15, a price so low you can’t afford not to play! Your admission fee generously supports VABVI’s programs across Vermont. Thank you for helping your blind and visually impaired neighbors!
The Great Brave Little State Challenge. It is a family friendly, Vermont-focused quest that can be done within the current health guidelines. It was created when all of our events were canceled and we had to get creative with fundraising to support our statewide services. The GBLSC was to give back to Vermont, to celebrate our community and our successful collective action to flatten the curve, and to underscore that we are all in this together in the past and today.
A number of Vermont luminaries contributed content to our project from all of our reps in Washington, to Grace Potter, several former Governors, and many artists, authors,and personalities.

Since the pandemic hit and we were all impacted, we've been contacted by various media outlets to ask us what we are doing to respond, how are we surviving? Our project is that answer. I am wondering if there is any interest at VBM in covering our project? It falls under "when the unexpected hits, get creative!"
