Oct 28, 2020 — North Country Senator Betty Little was diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer this summer, according to State Senate Republicans.
In a statement, State Senator Rob Ort disclosed that Little has completed radiation. “We’re praying for a full and expected recovery,” he said.
Little told Albany station WNYT a mammogram detected a small cancerous lump in July.
Little is retiring this year after almost twenty years in state politics.
