San Diego homicide detectives are investigating after a woman’s body was found Tuesday morning inside a trash can in Little Italy.
Someone called police about 8:30 a.m. to report finding the woman in a gray plastic bin on State Street north of West Hawthorn Street, homicide police Lt. Andra Brown said in a news release.
The woman appeared to be White, in her 20s or 30s, and wearing a black sweater and jeans. She looked to be homeless, Brown said.
Brown said detectives have no information about the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death, and are trying to find witnesses.
