Little, Lola J. - KMVT

WENDELL—Lola Jennette Little, 76, a resident of Wendell, passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.

Lola was born on October 10, 1944 in Wendell, Idaho, the daughter of Farren and Ivy Chandler.  She was raised on the family farm in Wendell, where she graduated from high school.

She married her eternal companion, Marion Jay Little on July 5, 1963, sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple.

Jay and Lola spent their lives building their farm where they raised their six kids.  When Lola was not working on the farm alongside her husband, they enjoyed fishing along the Oregon Coast or traveling with their friends.

Lola spent her life serving her family and serving others through her love of the Gospel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  She and Jay also served a mission on Orcas Island in Washington.

She is survived by: her husband – Jay Little; five daughters – Carrie Little, Carla Worth, Cathy Clearman, Christina Elliott and Casey Chidester; two brothers – Rulon Chandler and Wayne Chandler; one sister – Donna Anderson; 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her son – J. Dee Little; and her brother – Jay Chandler.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 2:00 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Wendell.  Burial will follow in the Wendell Cemetery.

A viewing for family and friends will be held on Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Demaray Funeral Service – Wendell Chapel.  164 East Main in Wendell; and on Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at The Church.
