Little Caesars, a chain pizza restaurant, is aiming to expand its presence in New England, with a special focus in Boston and Providence.
The company announced Tuesday that it hoped to add 50 new franchises in the two cities by 2026, building on its 17 locations already there.
“New England’s metropolitan cities — Boston and Providence especially — are filled with aspiring entrepreneurs who value technology and innovation,” Craig Sherwood, Little Caesars’ vice president of franchise development, said in the company’s announcement. “As we continue innovating to support our growth, we are confident that Boston and Providence entrepreneurs will find our business model to be the perfect fit.”
In an effort to expand its restaurants to the area, the company will appear in Boston this month for the International Franchise Expo, a worldwide convention of franchisees and brands.
Little Caesars, founded in 1959, has franchises in each of the 50 states and in 27 countries. It is the third largest pizza chain in the world after Domino’s and Pizza Hut.
