OLMSTED FALLS, Ohio – Sure, we all know that sneaking around someone’s back yard and spying through the window is foul (if not fowl) play.
Still, it’s not often that a peeping tom turns out to be, literally, a tom – a tom turkey, that is.
But that was the case when Tommy decided to check out the window dressing at the Jones home in Olmsted Falls. He might have been disappointed not to find a pumpkin pie cooling there.
Karen Jones says Tommy and several of his friends have been turkey-lurking around her home for about three years now. They likely keep showing up to enjoy the feast of bird seed Jones leaves out for them.
Jones is especially fond of Tommy, a pure white male who doesn’t let anything ruffle his feathers.
“The things in nature are so beautiful,” Jones said. “I wish everybody could appreciate it.”
Happy Thanksgiving from Tommy and his pals!
