Wabash (3-18, 0-8 MCVL) and host Bulldogs (7-19, 4-4 MCVL) sparred throughout the three-set event with 40 tie scores and 13 lead changes overall. The Little Giants held a 22-19 advantage in the opening set but could not put the set away. Adrian moved in front 24-23 but Wabash held off with a point on a service error to even the score at 24-24. Adrian took a one-point lead once again but Luke Davis scored a kill on a pass from Will Beikes to tie the match at 25-25. The Bulldogs closed out the set by scoring the final two points for a 27-25 win.
The two teams traded points in the second set, trading leads 14 times along with five lead changes. The Little Giants' last lead in the set came at 15-14 on a service error by Adrian. The Bulldogs reclaimed the lead for the final time on the way to a 25-21 win.
Wabash took another lead in the third set by a score of 15-11. Adrian evened the score for the ninth time in the match with four consecutive points. The Bulldogs moved in front 16-15 before a combined block by Jackson Leeper and Ricky Sessions to tie the score for the final time. Adrian moved back in front and eventually claimed a 25-19 victory for the three-set win overall.
Davis and Leeper led Wabash with seven kills apiece. Sessions and Evan Nichols each picked up six kills. Davis' eight digs also led the team in that category. Sessions and Luis Rivera each recorded seven digs. Beikes picked up a team-best 26 assists in the Little Giants' final match of the season.
