Four firefighters were injured battling a three-alarm fire in Little Italy on Sunday, according to officials.
When smoke-eaters arrived at the building on Hester St. near Mulberry St. around 6:15 p.m., the blaze had already spread to multiple floors of the six-story building, the FDNY said.
The fire continued to rage nearly two hours later as 138 firefighters from 33 different units fought the flames.
