Little Giants Place Seventh At Wabash Golf Invitational - Wabash College

Wabash turned in a low round of 307 on Tuesday over the final 18 holes of the 2022 Wabash College Invitational held Monday and Tuesday at the Broadmoor Country Club in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Little Giants finished seventh overall out of 11 teams competing in the tournament.
 
Wabash opened Monday's first round with a score of 309 before carding a 315 Monday afternoon in the second round. Tuesday's 307 provided a final tally of 931 strokes to put the Little Giants in seventh place overall. Wittenberg won the team title with a three-round score of 869, followed by Denison with a score of 916. Rhodes College placed third overall (920), one stroke ahead of DePauw University in fourth place (921). Kenyon and Millikin tied for fifth place with scores of 923.
 
Brayden Weiss led Wabash individually with a three-round score of 227 to tie for 10th place. The junior opened play Monday with a round of 77 and matched that total in the second round Monday afternoon. He carded a 73 on Tuesday for the lowest round by a Wabash golfer for the tournament. Freshman Sean Bledsoe tied for 13th place with an overall score of 228. He shot a pair of 75s on Monday before scoring a 78 Tuesday.
 
Mark Poole tied for 27th overall with a final score of 233 (78-77-78). Miles Patterson placed 55th out of 69 golfers at the tournament, scoring 246 (79-87-80). Robert Pruzin turned in the top score for the Wabash "B" team with rounds of 81, 77, and 80 for a total score of 238 to tie for 42nd place.
 
Wabash wraps up the fall portion of the schedule this weekend at the Wittenberg Invitational in Springfield, Ohio.
